Forklift Attachments Arlington - Arlington is a city in Tarrant County, with an approximate population of roughly 365,000 people, making it the 7th largest city within Texas, and the 3rd largest within the Dallas Metroplex. Arlington is the biggest city in Texas that is not a county seat. The city is bordered by numerous cities, like for instance Grand Prairie, Mansfield and Kennedale. Dallas is located about twenty miles east of Arlington City and Forth Worth is situated about twelve miles west.

Arlington City is home to a variety of well-known facilities, like for example the University of Texas at Arlington, The Texas Rangers' Ballpark in Arlington, the International Bowling Campus, Cowboys Stadium, the headquarters of American Mensa, International Bowling Museum, the theme parks Six Flags Over Texas and the Hurricane Harbor. It is also the head office of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region IV.

Although the majority of Arlington City is located within Tarrant County, a small portion of it extends into Dallas County. As such, the city is served by two county court systems.

In 1876, the city of Arlington was founded along the Pacific and Texas Railway and was named after General Robert E. Lee's Arlington House. It wasn't until the year 1884 when it was incorporated. By the year 1910, the city of Arlington had water, electricity, telephone and natural gas services in addition to a public school system. Before the second World War, the population increased to over four thousand.
